Anonymous Bitcoin (BTCA)-  A Co-Fork Between BTC and ZCL

An announcement regarding a project titled Anonymous Bitcoin (BTCA) has been made regarding a co-fork that will occur using BTC and ZCL to form this new coin.

For individuals who are interested in obtaining BTCA, you need to either purchase BTC or ZCL before the date of the fork. BTCA testnet will go live on August 10 which will provide a months’ worth of exchanges to test the wallets and infrastructure before the main snapshot occurs on September 2018.

The most noteworthy features of this co-fork will include increased speed of transactions, ability to stake coins through master notes, and anonymous transactions (using zkSNARKs technology – ZCL).

The BTCA team stated that they have crypto compliance attorneys that are in place to ensure that the cryptocurrency remains compliant with the current regulations implemented by the SEC. The co-fork does not include securities tokens, thus falls within the SEC guidelines.
